Wine Island is a premium food & wine festival taking over Clark Island, Sydney Harbour from Friday 18 March 2022 to Sunday 20 March 2022.
Is Wine Island a licensed event?
Wine Island is a fully licensed event. All patrons must be minimum 18+ years of age to enter.
Can I BYO alcohol into Wine Island?
Wine Island is a fully licensed event. BYO alcohol is not permitted.
Can I BYO food into Wine Island?
BYO food is not permitted.
What can I bring in to Wine Island?

- Sealed plastic clear water bottle up to 1.5L

Note, There will be a security check at the wharf and prohibited items will be confiscated. Wine Island does not take any responsibility for confiscated items.

Can I bring the kids to Wine Island?
This is an over 18’s only event. Leave the kids at home and enjoy your Island holiday!
Can I bring my pets to Wine Island?
Only trained assistance animals such as guide dogs will be allowed onto the island. Please contact us prior to the event at aloha@wineisland.com.au
Can I smoke cigarettes on Wine Island?
No. Clarke Island is a national park and there is no smoking allowed anywhere on the island.
Can I have a swim in the harbour while at Wine Island?
There is a no swimming policy on Clarke Island with Sydney Harbour being operational during the event.
What happens if there's bad weather?
Wine Island is an outdoor event and will proceed rain, hail or (no) shine.
Like any holiday destination, the island location can be affected by the weather conditions so come prepared with wet weather gear, raincoats, ponchos and/or umbrellas and (of course) a good attitude.
If the weather is deemed to be dangerous, we will communicate to all ticket purchasers on next steps.
Is there disabled access at Wine Island?
Due to structural limitations on Clark Island wharf, an accessibility option to permit wheelchair use on the island is not possible as advised by National Parks & Wildlife Services.

Will there be First Aid available at Wine Island?
Yes. First Aid will be located on the Island.
Are there pass outs available?
There are no pass outs at Wine Island 2022.
COVID-19
What is Wine Island's position with a COVID safe plan?
The COVID-19 situation in Australia continues to evolve and Mushroom Group, Frontier Touring & Blackbetty Productions anticipates Government and Health Authority requirements will continue to change.
As the promoter, we must consider stipulations from Government, Health Authorities, Artists and Venues in determining the COVID Safe measures for each Event.
These requirements may include, but not be limited to, proof of vaccination, QR code check-in, social distancing, mask wearing and/or other measures. You will need to comply with these requirements in order to attend Illusive Presents events and will be kept up to date with developments in the lead-up to the tour.
You agree to follow Event policies (including health and safety policies) and COVID Safe measures and instructions while at the Event.
COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. There is an inherent and elevated risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place or place where people are present and there is no guarantee, express or implied, that those attending an Event will not be exposed to COVID-19. You should evaluate Your risk in determining whether to attend the Event. By entering the Event, You voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
Tickets
Where can I purchase my Wine Island ticket?
The official ticketing agency for Wine Island 2022 is Moshtix.
Any tickets purchased from avenues outside of the Moshtix platform is at the purchasers risk.
I've bought my ticket. When do I get my wristband?
Your wristband will be handed out at the ferry check-in upon receipt of your valid ticket.
Can I request a refund on my Wine Island 2022 ticket?
Unless the event is cancelled or postponed by the Promoter, all tickets purchased are non-refundable.

Transport
How do I get to Wine Island?
A scheduled return ferry charter between King St Wharf to Clark Island will pick you up and return you for your booked session.
The Wine Island return charter ferry is included as part of your Wine Island ticket.
Can I purchase alcohol on the ferry ride to / from Wine Island?
There will not be any alcohol for sale on the ferries to and/or from Clark Island however Island guests will be welcomed aboard with a glass of sparkling in your own Wine Island tumbler – be sure to keep this tumbler as it’s your tasting glass for the day, and beyond.
PLEASE NOTE: Alcohol is not allowed to be consumed on the return ferry trip. Any opened bottles will be confiscated so please keep a lid on it.
Can I leave Wine Island before my session finishes?
You are more than welcome to contact a water taxi service to depart the island earlier. This will be at the ticket holders own expense.
Can I sail my personally owned boat / vessel to Wine Island?
Yes, you may arrive and depart the island via your own vessel however you MUST give way to the ferries. Please also note that by arriving in your own vessel you will forego the glass of sparkling you would receive on the ferry.
